I will help those I can, but give particular priority to 'Global South' or Indigenous students/scientists, and those working in conservation, especially if the work is time-sensitive.
I do not ask for co-authorship or money/attribution, though I would not turn down an acknowledgement.

What I can help with:

Writing and English

Though I am currently a PhD student, I am a pretty good writer, and also fairly prolific. I am happy to provide help with writing/editing papers, including general spelling/grammar and  structure, as well as English language editing.

GIS and mapping

I have 5 years of experience as a GIS technician, working on a broad variety of topics. I primarily have experience with Arcmap and R, and some experience with QGIS and Grass GIS. I am happy to provide advice/help on conducting analyses, processing data, making maps, etc.

Statistics and R

Because I have worked on a variety of topics, I have experience with many different statistical techniques. In particular, I have plenty of experience with non-parametric tests, modelling (GLM, Random forest, etc), and spatial statistics. I am also fairly proficient in R. I am happy to provide advice/help with stats and coding in R.
